10 things to know about Almond Bran

1      Almond Bran is almond skin which is removed during the process of making blanched almonds.  This brown coating protects the kernel from oxidation, insects and spoilage. Almond Bran is also called the skin, pellicle, or seed coat. Almond Bran contains concentrated antioxidants which are the natural defense system for the kernel.
